THE FOOTAGE is the natural evolution of the found-footage genre — find the footage, then watch it. It’s a complete live-action horror movie INSIDE a puzzle game.

You play the video tech on a two-person mobile news crew at the site of a bloody massacre in the late summer of 2009. As your reporter partner ANNE explores the crime scene — a wedding held at the former LAKE TREVORE CAMP — you decipher clues in the footage she finds, direct her next moves, and puzzle out the truth of what happened.

Blending immersive, interactive, and narrative threads more tightly than ever before, THE FOOTAGE is an easyAction co-production with French studio Atlas V, funded by France Télévisions and the CNC. It was presented at the Venice Film Market in 2025 and is in development now.
